The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts has announced that all cinemas, museums and theatres in Cambodia are to be closed immediately for a period of 2 weeks from today.

The move follows Cambodia’s first Community Outbreak – the Nov. 28 Community Event, which is centred round the family of a government official.

It is not known whether the closure applies to KTVs, nightclubs and other entertainment centres, which were closed “indefinitely” after the November 3rd incident – however, many clubs have reopened over the last week.
