Justice Min: We are working hard to drive Peru towards development

18:52 | Lima, Nov. 7.

Justice and Human Rights Minister Anibal Torres on Sunday affirmed that the Government is working to drive the country towards development, which will be possible with everyone's help.

Likewise, the minister ruled out that President Castillo's first days in office have been a failure. On the contrary, he noted that all sectors together will be able to lead the country towards development.

"We are working hard to drive it (the country) towards development. We will achieve this together!" he remarked.

As is known, the Government of President Pedro Castillo has recently completed its first 100 days in office.

The current administration's most important actions during this time include the COVID-19 vaccination of over 15 million Peruvians, the Second Agrarian Reform, the renegotiation and massive use of natural gas, and the payment of the family support grant Yanapay (Help) aimed at 13.5 million Peruvians.

Other accomplishments include the payment of a pension to Public Pension System (ONP) affiliates who have made contributions for 10-15 years, and the momentum of the tax reform.
