The relief has been disbursed to micro enterprise players so they can keep running their business amid this pandemic.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Cooperatives and MSMEs Ministry (Kemenkop UMKM) said it is targeting to disburse the second tranche of productive aid for micro enterprises (BPUM) to 1.5 million small enterprises by the end of July, 2021.

The aid will be distributed to 1.5 million MSMEs in July, 2021, 1 million MSMEs in August, and 500 thousand MSMEs in September, Cooperatives and MSMEs Minister Teten Masduki informed.

“The total of the aid is Rp3.6 trillion,” he said on Friday.

In the BPUM budget for 2021, Rp11.76 trillion has been set aside for 9.8 million micro businesses that will receive Rp1.2 million each, he added. The budget has been allocated under Budget Allocation Lists (DIPA) and realized 100 percent, he continued.

“The Cooperatives and MSMEs Ministry has also proposed a Rp3.6-trillion budget allocation for 3 million small business actors to the Finance Ministry through Letter Number 41/M.KUKM/V/2021,” the minister noted.

Furthermore, Letter of Finance Ministry’s Directorate General of Budget, Number S-451/AG/AG.3/2021, on Cooperatives and MSMEs Ministry’s Budget Revision Approval in 2021 (the fourth revision) as well as the DIPA have been issued, he said.

"The relief has been disbursed to micro enterprise players so they can keep running their business amid this pandemic, supporting the National Economic Recovery (PEN) program. This relief has been granted only for players who are not customers of people's business credit (KUR)," he explained.

To receive the aid, MSMEs owners will need to be nominated by the district/city office through the provincial office, he informed.

They will also need to obtain a business identification number (NIB) or business certificate from the village head, he said. The BPUM aid will be distributed through Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), and Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD), he added.
