In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, dozens of supporters of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro gathered on Copacabana Beach on Sunday.

Carrying Brazilian flags and banners against the Supreme Court and in support of "the family and God" the demonstrators were joined by a group of men who identified themselves as professors of jiu-jitsu, some working as security guards, and all of them "Patriots".

"I had to go to the street because here the 'Antifa' will not fight and win shouting, no. They won't do here what they are doing in The United States or what they did in Chile in 2019" said Angelo Castilho, a professor of jiu-jitsu.

In Brasilia, without wearing a protective mask, President Jair Bolsonaro met some of his supporters outside his residence, the Alvorada Palace.

A group of people made jokes and took pictures with him, and another group complained about the land given to indigenous people in the Amazon.

Bolsonaro talked with some of them and without giving any specific answer, criticized the press which he called "dishonest".

"With the press (media and journalists outside his residence) listening here, I can't be comfortable," he told the supporters.

Demonstrations against racism, against the president and in support of the democracy will take place in different cities on Sunday.
