    The former secretary of the National Drug Board, Milton Romani, participates in a team created by Gustavo Petro to discuss “institutional change” in drug matters.

    “What if cannabis is legalized in Colombia without a license? Like planting corn, like planting potatoes: we will see if it is exported and we will make a few dollars,” Colombia’s leftist President Gustavo Petro said on Wednesday. Said in a meeting with the mayors.

    In his speech, Petro did not directly mention United States President Joe Biden, but references to the latest US geopolitical movements hovered in the air.
